New Real Estate Agents Law is the best thing since sliced bread
The new REA Act 2008 is one of the best things that has happened to the industry. It came into play at the end of 2009. Things have settled and now we can all move ahead is a positive direction.
Having a strong consumer focus, the law makes it clear what responsibilities and obligations an owner has before offering their house for sale. It also gives clear direction on how agents are required to carry out their business. Good real estate agents will benefit, as will their clients and customers. Less informed and unskilled agents run the risk of being out of business if they are unable to come up to speed with the required changes. Bring it on!
